Discover code

From a first arrow to your own commands

Leon is being made for children aged 6–10. On iPad, iPhone, and Mac, they learn to build their own programs, one step at a time – in English or German.

  • Fill gaps in arrow routes.
  • Turn, move, collect stars, and place markers.
  • Explore repeats, decisions, while loops, and named commands.

Build. Watch. Try again.

Arrange blocks and read the matching code. Run your program, pause, take a single step, or step back to see what happened. Hints become more specific gradually; a full solution is a separate choice.

72 missions. Six worlds.

Find a path, predict what happens, and discover bugs. Six worlds introduce new ideas, while changed boards invite children to apply what they have learned. Six project briefs offer starting points for their own creations.

A workshop for your ideas

Draw paths, choose the start and goal, and add stars and marker targets. Save a world and its program, including unfinished work, then return to it later.

A place for each learner

Up to six profiles keep programs, projects, and progress separate. The family album lets adults and children look back together at what they tried and which hints they used.

Work stays on the device. There is no child account, advertising, or public chat. Adults can export and import backup files.

A free beginning

The first 12 missions and the creative workshop are designed to remain free. An optional annual subscription is planned for access to later campaign missions. Completed missions and saved projects remain available after annual access expires.

Currently in development

Leon is not yet available from the App Store. The planned price is USD 60 per year for the full learning path. The final price will be shown in your local currency at launch.
